Not picking on this post in particular, and I haven't been really cracking
down like I should, but a basic rule of the list is not to post ebay or
other auction items unless you are the actual seller, and even then, only if
you aren't in the business of selling.  In other words, the occassional
extra part you want to unload is fine...using the list as a front for a
business is not.

The reason for not allowing eBay or other auction ads:  some people spend
considerable effort to try to hunt for items they need, with the hope of
winning the auction and getting as good a deal as they can.  Plus, if we
start posting all the ebay ads that might interest the list, we would become
overwhelmed with posts...and finally, it keeps there from being hard
feelings if one members loses a bid to another list member.

As far as the argument about it being a way to help out others who might not
have found it otherwise...well, the way I look at that is that ANYONE, with
some effort, will find it themself.  Laziness is not a better reason than
the ones I listed, so we'll stick to not posting eBay or other auction ads.
