It'll have either a 235 or 261 and so it makes no differance , just look up the
rockerbox gasket for a 1962 Chevy Sedan with 235 .
The starter too , won't make any difference as it's a 12 volt one , if it's a
pedal start typ , just order one up for a '56 pickup .

better! if you cant get 6 anymore thats alright.
i work on tractors and trucks are a lot different! i know on a tractor you can
use a 6v starter with a 12v system but idk about trucks!
