This can be a great conversion or a total disater leading to your 
beloved truck being junked or wrecked so before you change 
anything , go to the Chevy Duty forums and ask in the Task Force 
('55 ~ '59) section as many there are hot rodders who've done this 
for better and worse , they'll give you a hand in selecting the 
correct column and how to make it go in painlessley .

DON'T throw out the old column and steering wheel ! someone will be 
needing it .
