It's funny we should be discussing this as I headed out for a 
weekend road trip in my old '49 and was thinking if maybe I'd been 
talking out my butt (yet again) about this when the heavens opened 
up and it began to rain like it never rains in California , I mean 3"
of standing water on the freway I was driving on , I had to slow 
down to 60 MPH it was so bad , cars whizzing past me @ 80 = MPH but 
my old vacuum wipers slapping back and forth , silently , flipping 
the water off without any problems at all , made me glad I'd sent my 
old gummed up vacuum motor off to Ficken Wiper Service a few years 
ago .

I _GOTTA_ fix my heater and get some Vent Shades too as I needed to 
drive with the window open tp prevent fogged up windows .
