Cleaning up the wiring harness on the '70 Sports Coupe (one of the
many dominoes in the row), and I've come across a couple of wires I'm
unsure of.
I have a black with orange going nowhere, and a green wire that goes
to one terminal of a female two-position connector with a resistor
across
TAP plastics sells a 3 part polish that can remove deep scratches.

cure your problem this way. Remove the gas line from the fuel pump, remove

I echo Milton's advice. An inline plastic body fuel filter is fine for
diagnosing fuel flow, but replace it with metal for the long run. I've
also cut the pickup end at a 45 and hose clamped some steel screen on
the end to serve as a trash filter.

I have taken apart less than Everett but on three 71 Cutlass / 442 rear
