adapt a couple pipes to the new headers are not much work, considering what
else you are up against. If he shop can build reliable 600 horse olds 350
engines for 4k, I will take 20 of them, as I can easily resell

deliver the engine to a father & son team that rebuild them. They will
dismantle it and tell me what is usable. Told them I wanted a street car to
run mid 13's.

Here is what I did to my 455:
Block - Magnafluxed, baked, shot peened, bored with plates, decked, align
honed
Heads - Magnafluxed, baked, shotpeened, surfaced, new
guides/valves/springs/retainers/seals, 3 angle valve job, street porting
Crank - Magnafluxed, cut .010", polished/chamfered
Rods -
Any thoughts on were I can get the correct window channels and good
motors.
