Don't know what you mean. The 39xxx is the last part of th VIN. As you

Hi Milton,
Thank you for that information the problem that I have is that
this engine should be a 455 and if this is true then how can it have 350ci
pistons I would have thought that the 350 pistons would be too small for the
455 bore

Any ideas on a good source for speakers for my stock '72 Toro? I have the
original AM FM stereo which works just fine. The speakers, especially the
front ones are shot.

Fred!
If it is rings, try Shell Aeroshell oil. I have seen it help reseat rings
that were in pretty bad shape. You will probably need to continue using
it for the life of the engine.
I'd talked about using Aeroshell on the List in the past, but I didn't
remember you already knew about it!

A friend is in need of a 1969 442 air cleaner assembly.
Anxious to take his car for a ride after installing a engine he rebuilt
himself. He seems to have forgotten to take the air cleaner off the roof

I also remember someone posting that the reason Valvoline's "Not Street

Is there a frame code published somewhere?

There is an AC delete cover available for the engine
side of the firewall which I beleve allows you to use
the AC under dash system. I am sure others on the
list have done this and can tell you how it works.

Wasn't me Chris
But I do I have a perfect complete 69 floor pan NO
rust, cut above the wheel housings and above the
bottom door hinge mounts, one big part. At $750 a very
easy install compared to welding in all the pans and
braces and still probably fixing additional rust the
pans don't cover.
And
The '64 and '65 A-bodies had completely different firewalls for non-AC and
AC cars. It could be the same for '72.

I have removed the A/C components from my 72 Cutlass conv., and am trying
to replace it with a standard blower motor and case. I got a blower motor
case from a 72 Cutlass, but it does not fit my car. Is there a difference in the
firewall between an A/C and non A/C car?
