Hi Troy
Yes I just pour it in with every oil change. It's GM part number
12345501. Comes in 4oz bottles. Mixes just fine with oil and lets me use
any motor oil I like. Brings any of them up to spec for zddp

Hi Matt
I use the GM assembly lube. Hi in zddp and about $4.00 an oil change.
Comes in 4oz plastic bottles and is available at most GM dealers. I buy
it by the case. I'll get the part number off the bottle if you need it.
Hope this helps

Hey Milton
I followed your postings on zinc and phosphoros additive for motor oil a
while back. I use the GM stuff myself. I am courious as to what years this is
necessary
to keep engine wear to a minimum. thru the 80's into the 90's?
thanks

Hi Bernie
Before you buy the car have someone else drive it while you follow. These

whichever came first. I took him at his word and have always added lead

and non leaded gas was mandated so hardened valve seats were necessary.

eaded gas is OK you should
add lead at every tank full. I do I use CD2. If you don't do this look forward
to valve problems at relativly low miles. If I run accross those numbers
somewhere I'll get them to you

As I remember even with the fan off. It still runs at a low speed. Part of
the flow thru ventilation package. I do know that with the a/c on and the fan
on real low a weak system will drop the low side of the A/C below 25lbs.
evaporator freezing was psssible
hope this helps

I don't know about the vista but the toronado used a hold in relay and the A/C
does in fact stay engaged until the ignition is cycled. Gas was cheap then.
Most of us put in a hidden toggle switch to defeat this feature
hope this helps
