that sounds rather naughty, doesn't it?

I bought a Chinesium Ball Joint press C-clamp tool the other day. Then I see the OTC version at the BSS for only $10 more. MUCH beefier screw and c-frame. Returned the Chinese one. Go to Buy-n-sell Store.... OTC unit is GONE.

:-(

Go to ebay, bid one up to oh $20
outbid now.
:-(

Many sell on ebay for $65... plus $30-35 sh'g, I guess these guys never heard of USPS Flat Rate boxes.

Go to another BSS, there's one for $85, but surprise, they got some wiggle room, out the door for about $65. Today I got the Chinese adapter set for lke $45. All set to dy my car's front end next spring [pun?].

Jeep back to running like crap only when engine is warmed up AND air temp is 65F or better.

coil now the suspect.
go to boneyard, EVERY jeep is missing the coil and the dist'r.

bought car for the oldest kid, saving it for xmas, '94 Cavlaier? Z34? [VIN 1g1jf14t0r7166433 - anyone got CarFax acct that can run this?] with spoiler, and FUNCTIONAL OAI! 3100 V6.. any caveats there? Intake gasket recently replaced, as well as alternator, PS pump, and tune-up. 130k miles or so. Better than any of the things I get to drive. I guess Rocky will have to go, 'cause I need the 4WD, and I figure I can make the Jeep run well enough to last until I can get Rocky II. Besides, the air temp will not be over 65F here for many months.

Got the '69 convert frame over to the body man, he wants the body on the frame for the QPanel replacement. ??? Trunk floor getting renewed too. Seems to me the frame would be in the way. Now we can get the engine gone over and prettied up and such. Many of the body mts were not about to install as-is- bolts too short? the cup shaped rubber pc that goes bottomside seems to have too deep a cup shape. Bolt was not able to get near enough to begin to grab a thread. Seems to me like even IF you got the longer bolts, the cup shaped thingy would basically compress a lot and not do what it is supposed to do. I don't recall the original units having a cup shape like that. Seems Not Right. We had to leave that part off most of the mounts, just tied the body to the frame as best we could. Mount #6 in the trunk are was simply missing the metal part of the body.

WANTED:
1968-9 2 groove Water Pump PULLEY "KA-401462" stamp . NOT the common PS Pump Pulley. Must have 4 bolt holes + center hole for water pump use.
