So that's a picture of OAI on a '50s car.  We also have OAI on W-30s and
W-32s and whatever else, 1968-1972.  Highly sought after, often
imitated, forged etc.  Extra horsepower and all that.

But my original '84 Delta 88 (and millions of other Delta 88s) also had
a vinyl tube  running from the air cleaner to a spot on the fender,
allowing "Outside Air" to be "Inducted" into the carb.  However, I
seriously doubt that it was done on the Delta for performance, but
instead for emissions.  Same thing on my '77 Pace Car, but it's
certainly not advertised as Ram Air.

What are the technical differences between these two systems, or at
least between '68-'69 OAI (obviously '70 - '72 with Ram Air hood has air
cleaner with flapper door) and '77 - '85 B-body?
