You are correct they are a different manufacturer which needed to be added
to that conf file. Michael's notes were exactly what I needed to do

Perhaps the new disks are not the same make and model as the old disks. You
may need to add entries to the scsi_vhci.conf file with the product and
vendor information of the new disks. You can use format/inquiry to find the
necessary information.
