Closing this thread for now to keep the RT queue cleaned and being able to
focus on other issues.
This issue is being monitored constantly however and I am keeping an eye on it
after having
increased the snapshot rule for removing old images from 15 to 25 days.

Not that I'm aware of, because virtually none of the images in the manifest are
release versions yet.

No occurrences have happened in docker.releases right?
This will help me narrow down the cause which could be Jenkins jobs if my
assumption is correct.
If this also happens in docker.releases then I would suggest an upgrade to the
