I agree, the revert use case should be supported more, often I run into the
50 char rule just committing – so we can push this back to 40 char and count
them before we commit, or remove the restriction – I am OK either way.

- reverting a patch through gerrit UI often fails with 500 ERROR due to: commit
subject >50 characters; use shorter first paragraph
