Being a non-profit always creates challenges when it comes to hiring top quality talent in a highly competitive job market. None of us are working here to make it rich. We are working here because we have a deeply felt passion for our open source mission and the communities we serve. Thus far we have not had much luck hiring for this opening; we lost our best candidate to a more lucrative position and the CVs since have been either far too junior to meet the needs of the community or are not located in a country where we can actually hire anyone.
