*Weblogic Admin roleMcLean, VA (must be able to do an in person interview).6+ Months Contract* Responsible for the installation, configuration, and integration of COTS packages on Windows and/or UNIX servers into a project environment. These tasks include Managing user/group accounts and policies, installing/configuring middleware connectivity clients, installation and integration of COTS and third party software, system and software patch and license management, system backup and recovery. Providing Tier 2/4 support and troubleshooting for project related problems. Required to uninstall projects once they are finished by reverse-engineering of the BOM and other project documents. Will work with the Windows Administrator, UNIX Administrator and Database Administrator. *WebLogic *The candidate should have good analytical skills to troubleshoot problems that arise in the WLS environment. Experience with WebLogic Coherence is desirable. *Job Duties: *Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in the WLS environments, and work with Oracle to resolve open Service Requests (SRs) Coordinates with client management to formulate highly complex technical solutions Identifies and implements solutions based on client needs. Informs client management of appropriate developments in technical support products Provides technical leadership to internal and external personnel on highly complex system installation processes Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced personnel Provides technical leadership to appropriate personnel on highly complex system administration activities Provides technical solutions and escalated support for non-routine, highly complex technical issues Evaluates products and upgrades for appropriateness of cost and compatibility. Oversees and implements system upgrade strategies Develops and analyzes highly complex system standards, thresholds, and recommendations to maximize system performance.
