I am not sure what you guys did but the trunk build is broken. The
regular expression stuff is the culprit. Please try to fix ASAP as I I
trying to merge some stuff from the incubator into the trunk and I can't
build or test until the regular expression stuff is fixed.

What problems are you seeing? I just did a complete trunk build and
didn't have any problems.

I did too, on Ubuntu and Windows. They both had no problems.

I did too,
On my Fedora 12 laptop the Makefile is bad after the ./configure script
is run. There is a bad statement concerning the variable version_info
about line 4187. In any case the Makefile will not run.
