Hello everybody, I wish to invite you to check out the ooRexx packages I made available for all flavors of SUSE, automatically built via the SUSE Build Service: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=ooRexx&project=home%3Aemendonca Currently there are packages built for the following platforms: - openSUSE 11.4 (i586 and x86_64) - openSUSE 12.1 (i586 and x86_64) - openSUSE 12.2 (i586 and x86_64) - openSUSE Factory (i586 and x86_64) - SLE_11, SLE_11 SP1 and SLE_11 SP2 (which comprehends both SLED and SLES, i586 and x86_64) The main differences from the official packages are: - a reworked SPEC to meet SUSE's standards (with separate -devel package) - a new init script for rxapid - a patch to redefine the default .cls search path - binfmt support: you can execute REXX compiled code directly, like a normal binary. Each platform has an individual public repository that can be used with zypper/YaST. So far the packages have shown to be fairly stable on my daily use. I'd like to hear your feedback on these. These builds are my own, and not intended to replace the official channels. More platforms and architectures supported by the OBS can be worked on if there's enough interest (like s390, ppc64 and RHEL6). Sorry for not being around lately, things got a bit hectic in the last few months. Erico Mendonça Dedicated Support Engineer +55 (61) 9115-3256 +55 (61) 8594-9557 +55 (11) 3345-3900 Av.
