I worked on solving some of the problems mentioned here earlier:
- failing builds on i586: I removed a “/*” in CMakeLists.txt. See the
fix_arch_detection.patch for details.
- undefined symbols in CentOS 6 and SLE 11 SP4: this is a weird one. GCC 4.3.4
behaves differently about where t
