Jill, Some of the existing community demo servers have a set of data that you can use. In the case of the ones maintained by Brian Feifarek, that data is refreshed 2x per week (I think). However, we have set up instances specifically for libraries to use on occasion. That way you can either use

Yes, the call number search under quick browse is a shelf browser. Keyword searches look within the bibliographic record and not the call number/volume record where your call number most likely resides. So, the call numbers that are keyword indexed for that search are those in the 050, 082, etc. fi

Hi, I tried this but the PDF included all the formatting info not just the labels. All nicely lined up along with the labels. I am using CutePDF. I installed both the CutePDF writer and CutePDF converter. This looks like it would be a good solution for us if I can get it to work. Thanks, Jane

Hi Barbara, Here, we wanted to keep using our laser printers that worked fine in our old ILS. To that end, I wrote a little web application and a workflow to get spine labels on standard Avery-type label stock. The workflow involves printing to PDF from Evergreen, instead of to a real printer.
