It sounds like this may be something with the printer. I would check the paper
size, zoom settings and header/footer from the printer selection page.
If you want to remove all traces of Evergreen from her computer, I use the
attached file ( Remove Evergreen.bat.old ) which if renamed as a batch
Hello all,
We are using Evergreen 2.2RC1 and attempting to delete and/or edit the existing
org units following the directions here:

headings for deleting and editing org units). Unfortunately, the changes do

Hi Jill,
To add to Lori's response, the demos that I set up use data generously shared
by Evergreen Indiana . There is also another set of test data called "concerto"
that is available in the Evergreen code repository ( Open-ILS/tests/datasets/
concerto .sql ) which I have not tested yet.
Jill,
Some of the existing community demo servers have a set of data that you can
use. In the case of the ones maintained by Brian Feifarek, that data is
refreshed 2x per week (I think). However, we have set up instances
specifically for libraries to use on occasion. That way you can either use
We're working on getting an Evergreen demo up and running and trying to figure
out how much staff time and energy will be required.
Can someone tell me how a demo is typically populated with data? Do most
libraries pull some of their own records, or is it more common to use "dummy"
records?
Hi there,
We're having a problem with one of our staff members' receipts and I could
really use some help.
Whenever this staff member logs in to one particular circ computer, the
receipts are terrible. They cut short, run long, don't appear like anyone
else's, even though we use the exact s

Hi,
I tried this but the PDF included all the formatting info not just the labels.
All nicely lined up along with the labels.
I am using CutePDF. I installed both the CutePDF writer and CutePDF converter.
This looks like it would be a good solution for us if I can get it to work.
Thanks,
Jane
Hi Barbara,
Here, we wanted to keep using our laser printers that worked fine in our old
ILS. To that end, I wrote a little web application and a workflow to get spine
labels on standard Avery-type label stock.
The workflow involves printing to PDF from Evergreen, instead of to a real
printer.

Hi Glen,
I believe the application_perm entry is used to define whether another
given group has the ability to edit users of the group with the perm.
So say for example, you create a patron group called "Child", if you set
that group with an application_perm like "group_application.user.child
We want to entirely change our spine label printing process. I am
interested in any efficient methods, including printing programs or

Hi, this is Glen at the Ann Arbor District Library. We're not on Evergreen,
but I'm experimenting.
I'd like some advice about adding permissions groups. In the client I've gone
through Admin, Server, Permissions Groups, and added several groups under
Staff. These show up in the permission.g
Hi Arayik,
I honestly don't know if this would work with a 1.4.0.4 database, but you might
try using the latest version of the built-in MARC export script that comes with
more recent versions of Evergreen:

Dear community,
We are currently working on exporting our records from Evergreen 1.4.0.4
running on Ubuntu server. The problem is that we are unable to find an
effective tool to export the whole database of bib. records and their
holdings. System contains nearly 16000 records which are attached
