Hi Deana,
Our users found the turtle confusing as well so we replaced the image
with one for holds that need to transit:

and one for holds that need to go to the hold shelf:

I was hoping at some point to hear more about the db work Command Prompt
has done for KCLS and perhaps see some work in git. I was sad to see that
in the new LJ article that Jed Moffitt said that at this point KCLS has

When customizing Evergreen files, it's a good idea to make a copy of your
original file first. Also, Evergreen upgrades will wipe out your images and
util.js, so you'll need to update those again whenever you upgrade
Evergreen.
I think we should support this in stock Evergreen (though maybe

I agree that making this easier to customize is a good thing -- thanks
for adding this to
I'm okay with different images; the tentative suggestion was just to
minimize change. But better images is a possible enhancement too.
Why are the holds ending up at branches they don’t frequent?
Thanks,

Perhaps it was the turtle implication that turned our staff against him
as well. The clip art we ended up with are much like what Elizabeth

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if someone could help me get some clarity on hold targeting
within records that have a mix of items with parts and without.
In a record like this one: http://tinyurl.com/pbg9lkz, there are a mix of
libraries that don't split out the item into parts and those
Hi Deana,
I'm no expert, but on our system, if the patron logs on via the OPAC, it
shows up in their account settings:
Keep history of checked out items?
Keep history of holds?
Hope this helps

Hello,
On Evergreen master, a patron can allow Evergreen to keep a history of checked
out items and/or holds placed by logging onto the website and check the
appropriate box (Keep history of checked out items?, Keep history of holds?)
under Account Preferences - Search and History Preferences.
Good Afternoon Brent,
Placing a hold on “All Parts” should only be placing a title level hold,
and items with parts associated with them should not fill the hold. I just
retested this on version 2.4.2, and it is still functioning as intended.
