Hi Scott, No, copy notes aren't searchable in the catalog. Words need to be in the MARC record to be searchable. If you want to send a link with an example where copy notes seem to be searchable, we could look at it to see why it is coming up in your results. I hope this helps! Kathy Kath

Hi Scott, I did a little test by choosing a fairly obscure word "logolepsy" and confirming that it wasn't in any notes or bib entries for a specific org unit I could search and then added it to a copy note for the top returning search for another keyword. I also made the copy note public in case
