Ok thanks. I installed on ubuntu 14.04 again and got it all working.
Windows Client authenticates too but doesn't connect fully. I get js type
errors. I find Evergreen very temperamental. Stuff not working or confusion
on my part at every turn.

try to connect with the Staff Client 274 I get the attached error though:
TypeError: g.my_libs_tree is null

upgrade to 2.7 series. But the sql script found for upgrade is from 2.6.3
to 2.7 series. What script is to be done for upgrading from 2.6.4 or higher
version to 2.7 series.
