I limited holds for our patrons to 15 a couple of years ago. I do not recall seeing a way to limit by the type of hold, but I wasn’t really looking for that. I just wanted to stop people from putting an insane number of items on hold and then having to tell them that they could only check out

Evegreen does inform the patron when the hold limit is reached and no further holds are allowed until you drop below the limit. I have been placing a lot of holds lately to fix records or assign parts so I've hit the 50 limit often. As soon as even one hold is checked out to me I can place anothe.
