Jon Scott and I have been playing around with Evergreen on Drupal for a

of the front-end development if the web framework was already in place.

I don't believe so. In fact, I am personally for moving *away* from
some of the browser compatible interfaces we do have (most of which
are for configuration purposes only anyway).
