The pid files may be removed for you on successful stop. They only linger
on crash. That message is not a failure, just a warning that the files you
want removed are already gone.

I have tried:
osrf_ctl -l -a stop_all
rm /openils/var/run/*.pid
osrf_ctl -l -a start_all
but it can't find the .pid files:
