Look for US citizen - Ability to interpret a customer’s business reporting needs and translate them into application and operational requirements, requiring strong analytical skills coupled with a thorough understanding of global financial markets as well as prevalent reporting standards. - Ability to understand and evaluate complex financial systems internal as well as external to the organization in terms of capabilities and functionality and relate this information to reporting needs of the clients. - Be comfortable with requirement discovery and elicitation methods like JAD, interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. - Candidate should be able to critically evaluate financial information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. - Ability to proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver some or all of the following artifacts as needed: o Functional requirements Document o Business Requirements Document o Use Cases o Mapping Documents o GUI o Wireframes o Screen and Interface designs - Be able to standardize and categories multiple requirement definitions from different clients to aid in a unified and standardized development approach. - Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and work with project managers in defining effort estimates. - Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts from end clients as well as internal teams. - Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow. - Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using tools including but not limited to UML, Visio and MS Office Suite. - Candidate should be able to collaborate with project managers, developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs and act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. - Act as the SME for the Development as well as Quality Assurance teams throughout the development and QA phases and help define and devise high level functional scenarios for component, unit and Integration testing. - Basic know-how of PL-SQL and a level of comfort in working with technical teams will be a plus.
