*Our client has an opening for a solid Core Java Developer to assist in
User Interface (UX) development for next generation Set-Top Boxes.*
*You will work in an R&D environment creating applications from
scratch, developing enhancements to existing applications and developing
prototypes. *
*You will actively contribute to the definition, development,
integration, test, documentation and support of custom Internet based
software applications.*

*Required Skills/Experience*
*Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science*
*7+ years of software development experience *
*Strong (several years) demonstrated CORE Java background *
*UNIX/Linux background*
* *
*Candidates with excellent Brainbench or other similar Java testing highly
preferred!*
* *
*Experience with Any of the Following is a Plus*
*Swing*
*AWT*
*User Interface development*
*Experience developing RESTful and/or SOA Web Services *
*Hands-on experience with MVC framework*
*Experience working with cable TV Set Top Boxes*
*Experience designing, building and supporting APIs for third party
consumption.*
