*Position: SAP BO/BI Developer* *Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description:* *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* · Develop, design and test BO Reports based on user requirements. · Analyze current production Reports and improve performance. · Define and design the universe, BI Dashboards and reports. · Work with the customer to gather specifications for data and report requirements. · Effectively translate end user reporting requirements into functional design documents. · SAP Business Explorer Query Designer (7.x) design experience. · SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office 1.4. · Familiar with SAP BW InfoCube/Multicube structure as it relates to BW Query Design. · Systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions. · Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate and/or calculate information to fulfill data and reporting requirements. · Develop and mock-up prototype reports to demonstrate user requirements. · Build test cases and perform comprehensive testing. *Requirements* · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or relevant work experience. · 5+years of experience as a Crystal/BOBJ Reports Developer. · 5+ years of strong SQL and PL/SQL programming experience. · Oracle 11G and SAP HANA experience required. · Ability to troubleshoot performance problems with SAP Business Objects software such as Web Intelligence, Universes, Crystal Reports, and BOBJ server. · Advanced skill in the development of Business Objects Web Intelligence reports and Dashboards. · Good understanding of data modeling and complex database schema. · Thorough understanding of the principles of computer systems validation, SDLC methodologies and testing best practice. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills ensuring the ability to interact with the business, peersand vendors in a professional manner. · Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Praveen TiwariUnited Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
