Informatica ETL Developer with a Security Clearance for a client in Sunny South Florida Web Job Description Position Summary Our client is in need of a Senior ETL Developer / Data Warehouse Engineer that analyzes and evaluates existing and/or proposed systems and devices to process data warehouse data. Assists in the development, design, testing and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions. The Sr. Data Warehouse Engineer will collaborate with team members to resolve issues to assure the successful delivery of BI/DW solutions. Applicant must have extensive knowledge of Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange, Unix scripting, PL/SQL and Business Objects. Duties and Responsibilities: * Support and enhance the existing data warehouse platform by applying system solutions to business issues. * Develop, design, maintain, test, install, and modify ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) within the context of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions. * Possess proven skills and sound knowledge of ETL/BI processes and best practices and be experienced in development activities. * Applies knowledge and experience with technology and application development methodologies to perform system analysis techniques, testing, debugging, file design, and storage. * Work with cross-functional teams to identify technology modifications that will impact business processes. * Provides support of all system/service components, including installation, configuration, maintenance and support. * Maintain confidentiality with regard to information and data being processed, stored or accessed. * Support and enhance existing jobs and processes. * Participate in scheduled production support plan. * Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills Qualifications: * Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience * 7 - 10 yrs of experience. * Solid knowledge of Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange.
