Specific Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of client/server web based application architectures. The web based application architectures include web applications, web services, and database operations. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction. Candidate should be familiar with Software Engineering methodologies such as Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development. Required Skills in the following areas: JAVA/J2EE Technologies, Object Oriented Analysis & Java/J2EE Design Patterns, HTML, CSS, JSP, Spring Framework, Tiles Framework, Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, Eclipse, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, Oracle, JavaScript, Apache Ant, CVS, Linux, Aspect Oriented Programming, Java 1.5 Annotations. Typical Minimums: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Desired skills: WSAD, XML, Web Services, MKS, Apache Axis, Web application integration with Web Services, and Web application design.
