Java J2EE Developer Mandatory Skills: • 5-7 years of Java/ J2EE development experience, including strong Java and web application knowledge • 4--6 years JAVA programming in a J2EE environment • Experience with Eclipse IDE required • Development experience in Struts, Spring, Hibernate • Must have worked on SDLC based projects at multiple stages ( design , development, QA support, UAT and Deployment) • Good independent working skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong time/task management skills Preferred: • Healthcare IT experience a plus Bottom of FormWork as a Java analyst for Java Shared Services team to design and implement a new solution to support applications and other new initiatives. • Develop/enhance/maintain enterprise level applications based on Websphere portal and related Java technologies • Work closely with business users and system analysts to understand and help define application and technical requirements. Help ensure that these requirements tie back to the established business requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with long-term direction • Follow development standards and procedures; ensure compliance with standards and procedures defined by development team • Review application and technical deliverables throughout development to ensure completeness, consistency, quality and requirement traceability; ensure that development standards are followed, including code reviews and unit testing • Attend weekly development status meeting and provide detailed status report.
