Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Network Engineer L3 (9+ years)* *Lindon, Utah* *6+ months* *Job Description:* *Note:* Focus on routing switching_ (good to have knowledge of firewall & load balancing) The Network Engineer L3 is responsible for the design, deployment and sustaining processes required to provide critical network services to our customers. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering on our commitments. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with providing subject matter expertise and rapidly responding and resolving escalated issues – major incidents, P1 and P2. *Primary Responsibility:* · Management & administration of network infrastructure – Routers, Switches and Wireless Devices. · Working knowledge of Firewalls and Load Balancers, DNS · Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure related hardware and software issues · Implement change requests as per business needs on Routers, Switches and WAP · Work with the vendor/product in delivery of data network service, hardware and software to agreed service levels · Handling and escalating highly impacting operational issues to upper Management and/or 3rd party vendor escalation · Performs analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems · Participate in team projects and project/technology transition · Generates project documentation, network configuration including detailed test plan for highly complex networks · Plans and executes highly complex network upgrade and migration activity · Assists with deployment and strategy of tools and related Network Management Systems · Identify and resolve chronic issues · Supervising responsibilities including interviewing and training/coaching team members *Mandatory Technical Skills:* · 9+ years’ experience in the troubleshooting and performance management of data infrastructure networks · Expert level knowledge in at least TWO of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: Cisco Routers, Switches, Cisco Wireless Access Point, WLC, Cisco WAAS, Cisco WAN Accelerators and Optimizers. · Expertise on latest Cisco hardware and operating systems · Knowledgeable in the data circuit technologies - TDM, MPLS, Ethernet, EoSDH and POS · Experience with network architecture, engineering & migration activities · Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP) · Configuring/Troubleshooting Routing protocols including but not limited to EIGRP, OSPF, BGP & layer 2 protocols · Configuring/Troubleshooting LAN Switching – VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS, etc. · Strong functional knowledge of TCP/IP required · Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst 6500 and other Catalyst Series switches · Cisco Nexus 9K Series of switches · Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers 3800, 3900, 7600 Series · Configuring/Troubleshooting Cisco IOS Software · Configuring/Troubleshooting Application protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc. · Configuring/Troubleshooting Network Security - IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS · Proficiency in creation and maintenance of SOP. *Typical Years of Experience:* • 6 - 12 years of experience *Education Qualifications:* • Any Graduate/BE/B.Tech *Preferred Qualifications:* • Engineering Background with CCNA/CCNP/CCIE *Mandatory Skills:* • Self-driven and motivated to achieve success • Experience with major incident management • Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills • Customer service skills and client focus • Should be a great team player Thanks, *Shilpi Bist* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *Next Level Business Services, Inc.* *Staffing|Consulting|Outsourcing* Phone: 904- 999-4722| Fax: +1 (608)646-8326 E-mail:shilpi.b...@nlbservices.com |Web:www.nlbservices.com Gtalk: shilpi.recruiter1 *Certified Minority Business Enterprise (CMBE) & ISO 27001 and 20000-1 Company* CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This e-mail transmission may contain confidential information.
