*Title: Configuration Management Analyst
Location: Dublin Ohio
Duration: 12 months*

*Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for
ensuring that application software changes in a multi platform environment
are implemented in accordance with the Configuration Management (CM)
process. He/she must develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding for
the Configuration Management strategy of our Client  . This position will
be responsible for software builds, deployments, and configuration elements
within the Dev, Test, Stage, and Prod environments. In addition, the
Configuration Management Analyst will be responsible for preparing software
builds going to production. The Configuration Management Analyst will
coordinate build and deployment activities along with continuous process
improvement for IT applications.
Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:
1.Provide technical leadership in the software deployment process for
projects. Ensure The CM process is followed for builds and deployments for
the assigned projects and applications. 55%
2.Maintain deployment and build schedules for projects and applications. 20%
3.Continuous enhancement of the CM process to support required business
needs. 10%
4.Provide build automation 5%
5.Provide Software deployment tool administration & expertise 5%*

*Experience or Equivalent: Minimum required to perform job.
•BS in Computer Science, Business or related job experience.
• 5+ years experience in Application Development using a Configuration
Management methodology process. Requires the ability to develop and manage
implementation planning schedules. Must demonstrate the ability to handle
multiple projects and coordinate project schedules. Innovative and
strategic thinking is required, as well as a track record of success
implementing solutions that result in measurable business benefits.
• 3+ years experience in Configuration Management working and deploying
WebSphere applications: Application Server, Message Broker, and Commerce.
• 2+ years experience developing and implementing CMMI and/or SOX
compliance..
• 2+ years experience with IBM Rational Tool Suite.
• Experience with the IBM BANDD tool and other scripting tools (i.e. Ant,
jython).
• Experience with source control systems, including Rational Clear Case,
Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, or CVS.
• Experience with a software configuration management tools and performed
administrative activities associated with those tools.
• Thorough understanding of configuration management principles (e.g.
rebase, baseline, release).
• Understand the concepts of labeling, branching, and promotion models with
respect to the capabilities (or limitations) of a configuration management
tool.
• Experience with WebLogic a plus.*
