Has to do with cash registers, bar code scanners, receipt printers, Promotions like “buy one item and get the second item free or ½ off”. Needs to have the physical register experience (IBM, NCR, ACE, etc.) Needs to have promotions experience*. Needs to be a USC or GC or close to a GC, and make an in-person interview after they make the phone screen. If they have been working on ecommerce the last few years…that is not a match! They can have mobile POS (hand held devices to check out customers) but no ecommerce.
