CSB stores a variety of characteristics about specimens and integrates the banked specimens to data collected during clinical trials. · Integrating banking specimens with clinical data allows Lilly to address a variety of research needs, as well as ensuring that the system preserves patient anonymity. · CSB is written in Java and HTML and resides on a UNIX server with an Oracle database back-end.
