In this role, you will be responsible for testing hot new software products and web services. Essential Job Functions: Primarily responsible for testing different software products and web services and mobile platforms and delivering tested products on time. Participate in design and review discussions Scope functional, integration testing Create test plans, produce and execute test cases Submit detailed bug reports Submit detailed bug reports Perform regression testing, bug verification Contribute to release documentation. Develop and execute test cases, validate results, verify bug fixes, and tracking activities Participate in process improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned Essential Job Requirements: 6 years of QA with internet application testing Experience with HTML, Javascript, VB.Net, SQL Experience working with multiple operating systems, including Windows, Unix and Linux Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server a plus) Experience with MS Excel. Experience with bug tracking tool is preferred. Experience with test automation tolls is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Familiarity with XML or other web programming languages Experience with .NET technologies (C+, VB) Experience testing web based applications for functionality, load, and scalability (on various browsers) Work closely with product management, developers and operations to deliver high quality products Familiar with multiple operating systems, including Windows XP and Mac Familiar with Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox Must be independent, detail oriented, ready to take ownership, and be a self-starter.
