The Project Manager is responsible for management of scope, schedule and cost for multiple projects. Candidate must possess a can-do attitude, good facilitation skills and strong leadership and organizational skills. Candidate will assist in the identification, reporting, & resolution of risks and issues as well as mitigation plans. Provides project oversight and ensure compliance to AA’s structured development methodology, and manage overall IT budget for these areas and work with various vendors to ensure IT delivery. Interacts with the technical teams & business teams to ensure requirements are documented and necessary activities are completed. Leads daily project tracking, planning and status meetings. • Prefer a minimum of 3 years experience of project managing large IT Development projects. • Broad experience in a variety of computing platforms (mainframe, client/server, web, etc.) • Ability to concurrently handle multiple responsibilities • Excellent oral and written communication skills required. • Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization (such as the Project Management Institute--PMI) a plus • Previous airline experience desired Client: American airlines Location: Fortworth, TX Duration: 7 months -- Thanks & Regards Matt I.T.
