*A role critical to the implementation of QA standards throughout several
programs within CIT. QA efforts will range from Call Center Support,
Workstation QA, Risk platform, as well as IT tools. Work would be performed
on specific projects while simultaneously supporting BAU effort. Specific
Skillset and Testing Focus: Mac Testing / Packaging / Deployment. Initial
projects will focus around Apple Products using Mavericks Operating System.
The candidate will need to have previous experience using Macs and
illustrate prior experience around testing interoperability within a PC
centric network. The candidate must have a deep understanding of testing
third party software that has been internally packaged and ideally have the
ability to package software for deployment. The analyst will work closely
with the network and deployment teams and provide alternatives and
solutions for Mac users. The role allows for a unique skill set of both
tester and packaging expert. Suggesting timelines for OS and Software
version updates, patches, alternative 3rd party solutions, and managing Mac
user expectation within the network. Integral to the position is
malleability of various development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.),
along with QA focus shifts that range from: UI validation DB
Interoperability Mobile Device Desktop IVR The ideal candidate would be in
involved in the implementation of best practice techniques for test-driven
development, value-based exploratory testing, risk identification, and
production support. The resource would participate in early design
discussions provide integrity to the App quality by identifying gaps,
ensure critical analysis of documentation, and clarifying testing scenarios
prior to development start. Providing innovative approaches to coordinate
multi-region testing allowing more condensed testing schedules will be
within daily activities. Automation script writing skills leveraging IVR
tools, QTP, and other open source tools will play a pivotal role in the
need to produce iterative testing in a cost effective solution. This
resource will be responsible for driving and maintaining automation suites,
and their interdependencies. The position would be responsible to operate
within fast-paced initiatives, in order to retain quick time to market.
With the agile-like project lifecycle, the candidate would need to have a
deep understanding to balance Agile QA process, and audit compliance of
SDLC standards. Supporting UAT testing would require similar coordination
of the same QA groups to ensure seamless testing by providing proper
scheduling of data preparation and defect tracking. As an alternative (or
addition to) Automation a benefit of the role to understand and leverage
performance testing goals would greatly assist the resource. The ideal
candidate would need to: Design and execute test plans, scenarios and
scripts, designed to capture, measure and compare response times of local
desktop applications, intranet sites and corporate applications. Analyze,
review and present results with recommendations and action items. Work with
architecture, engineering, development and security to plan for upcoming
patches, version updates and devise test plans to adequately ensure no
impact to the corporate user community. Identify or develop testing tools
to enhance the automated testing capabilities surrounding desktop and
internal network testing needs. Coordinate with multiple team members and
managers spread globally to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, fluid
technology platform. Qualifications: Previous experience with Offshore

Primary Responsibilities: •Application level knowledge, assisting in
execution of test cases and Automation Scripts when needed. •Clearly
communicate project status at various intervals based on the need
•Communication of Project Planning is complete with the business,
development, and PMO regarding status, milestones, issue resolution and
escalation. •Consultative analysis and functional requirements are
completed and document deliveries are met. •Customize and run performance
test scripts •Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and
expected results for one or more test plans in a development cycle by
analyzing the Functional Specifications and Business Requirements. This
could include component, Database Configuration tests, computer telephony
integration, user interfaces and regression tests. •Ensure correct
realization of the client’s requirements, performances, security,
environmental and legal constraints. •Execution of test cases and
Automation Scripts where needed. •Identify Automation scripts requiring
maintenance •Identify test cases that benefit from Automation, and reduce
dependency on manual testing. Determining maintenance schedule for
Automation scripts to ensure sustained functionality. •Log, track and
verify resolution of software defects •Manage a dispersed global team of
5-10 testers to develop strategy and technical product solutions. •Manage
all communications related to QA Status on a daily basis during execution.

providing optics where decision making has material impact on costs and
risk. •Provide global support and ongoing enhancements to platform. •Report
of the potential risks and any stage of development. •Retain Audit
compliance while supporting end users during their testing cycle. •Review
Conceptual Analysis and Functional Requirements for completeness and ensure
document deliveries are met. •Train onshore and the offshore team in
writing test scripts and best practices. Contributing to team member cross
training by effectively managing direct reports in integration projects.
•Vigilantly monitor projects against forecast of time, effort, cost, and
quality. •Work with business and development to determine requirement
coverage, create test cases to test iteration and develop requirement
traceability. Including performance, security, environmental and legal
constraints. •Work with end user to develop processes and reporting tools
for UAT testing. •Work with the development team to resolve any issues that
arise out of the testing process. Education/Experience: •5+ years of
relevant IT leadership experience, preferably managing a globally dispersed
team. •Extensive understanding in leading QA process [Agile and Waterfall].
•Ability to understand business needs and assist in translating into a test
approach and plan. •Analytic-driven and insight-focused, with a proven
history of measuring lead/pipeline funnels and business results – from
campaign initiation and lead conversion to closed revenue; advanced Excel
and data presentation skills a must •Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
computer engineering or relevant field required •Demonstrated ability to
work collaboratively with others developing strong internal and external
relationships. •Demonstrated track record of achieving tangible results
while managing cross-functional teams in a highly matrix environment
•Experience managing expectations and delivery of product/technology
services to a highly diverse, global workforce. •Exercises independent
judgment, strong ability to work independently leveraging minimal direction
from supervisor •Experience and deep understanding of Test Automation
