Please send me your most updated resume with contact details ASAP. *QA/Testing Analyst 6 months Reston, Virginia,* *Description:* QA/Testing Analyst Seeking several senior level QA/Testing Analysts to join our testing practice in Reston, VA. As a senior level tester, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and executing test cases that ensure Acquisitions, Underwriting, Delivery Data, and Securitization data are persisted according to requirements and technical specifications. Previous testing experience in some or all of the following (UNIX based testing, regression testing, security state testing and/or privacy testing) is a plus. *Responsibilities:* Designs, writes and implements testing scripts, test tools, SQL queries, and test drivers for applications. Create and manipulate test data using XML files to validate positive and negative conditions. Create and manipulate test data in Database to validate positive and negative conditions. Validate target data against the source systems. Review, Analyze and use Data Model to understand Data Flow and create Test scenarios for data validation. Validate system produces appropriate status files, logs and error file. Ability to run Autosys, and Unix shell scripts to process in Test environment for end-to-end validation. Ability to submit test data directly to ESB and backend services. Develop SQL queries using various aggregate functions, Joins, sub-query to validate Data mart. Ensures that test case standards are adhered to for all test cases included in regression suite. Executes regression suite, reporting results and issues in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains awareness of new software testing tools and trends within the software testing industry. Reports and tracks problems by providing reproducible test cases, and working with other product team members to close problem reports. Provide the test lead with accurate estimated LOE for updating the regression suite and executing test cases. Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development/business partners with sufficient detail to understand, replicate and resolve. Provide status reports and generate ESS/Factory metrics. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to handle multiple concurrent testing responsibilities. *Required Skills:* The Test Engineer should possess a 4 year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics 7-10+ years of hands on software testing experience. Should be familiar with current software testing methodologies to include risk based, boundary, black box and white box testing. Must have a solid understanding of the SDLC, configuration management, and release cycles. A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience with testing management and automation products such as HP Quality Center, IBM Rational Clear Quest, and HP QuickTest Professional. A minimum of 5 years demonstrated, hands-on experience with SQL, Unix, XML, Autosys. A keen attention to detail is critical in this role. Demonstrates knowledge of some or all of the following: Java (J2EE), C, C++, XML, shell programming, Web Logic and with RDBMS such as Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL. *Desired Skills:* Exposure to Ab Initio or Informatica ETL tool, TIBCO, and EMS Gems.
