Location: NYC Duration: 6 months + PLS SEND SOLID CANDIDATES ONLY WITH PRIOR GOV EXP. FACE TO FACE A MUST.LOCALS PREFERRED. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. · The ability to communicate fluently with technical subject-matter experts. · A strong aptitude to work with project- and portfolio-management tools such as Clarity. · Competence in technical writing. · Familiarity with networking terminology. · Knowledge of systems-development lifecycle and portfolio-management-lifecycle methodology. · A minimum of 8 years experience with network projects, hardware, software and deployments. · Proficiency in MS Office, Project and Visio. · The ability to work independently and manage a team. SCOPE OF SERVICES The CityNet Project Manager shall manage and execute the project and communicate critical project issues to the DoITT Manager. The CityNet Project Manager shall produce and maintain project schedules as required, manage projects to tasks and milestones, report project status to the DoITT Manager, and schedule, lead, and document project team meetings. In addition, the CityNet Project Manager shall assist with project deliverables as required. The PM shall also be responsible for the following tasks: · Organizing and assigning tasks. · Tracking and expediting deliverables, open issues, and action items. · Facilitating regularly scheduled status meetings. · Managing staff and vendors. · Communicating critical project issues to the DoITT Manager. · Maintaining project status and tasks in Clarity and Microsoft Project Professional. The PM shall be responsible for the following deliverables: · Project plan. · Status reports. · Budget reports. · Meeting notes. · Other project-related documentation.
