Role: Android Developer
Location: Hyannis MA
Duration: 6 months
Android Developer to work closely with our client's mobile device team to
develop
an Android(tm) version of a control system UI.
Technical Requirements:
· Experience with Java
· Experience with the android SDK
· Experience with holo UI design and implementation
· Experience using Eclipse as an IDE
· Experience optimizing app performance (using tools such as Traceview
or DDMS)
· Understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) design
· Understanding of SQL
· Familiarity with source control (cvs, svn, or git)
Other Requirements:
· Must have strong understanding of user interfaces; everything from
layout to animations
· Must be able to utilize and modify a large, existing code base
· Must have strong debugging skills; should be able to drop into code
and trace it through
· Should have experience developing for a long term evolving product;
our apps are an integral part of our product line and are continuously enhanced
and maintained
· Should have one or more functional apps; these should be demonstrated
during the interview
Desired, but not Required:
· OpenGL experience (particularly OpenGL ES 2.0)
· NDK (Native Development Kit) experience
