Specific tasks/responsibilities may include: • Deployment and configuration of new servers. • Upgrades and maintenance of existing infrastructure e.g. version • Resolution of problems affecting the infrastructure e.g. serverside issue resolution. • Level 3 support for client-side problems. • Supporting/administering Microsoft Exchange 2007, OCS, upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance tasks. BlackBerry, Vantage and Good for Enterprise messaging infrastructure. • 3rd level support for Helpdesk and Desktop support teams. • 24x7 on-call cover is required one week in every four weeks. • Team’s shift pattern to cover 7am to 5pm GMT. The second aspect of the role is to support and facilitate the migration of the Bank’s email platforms to a new vendor-hosted solution.
