Location: Herndon VA Duration:6 months Rate: $60/hr Key Skills: Abinitio, Autosys, Unix Shell scripting, Oracle, PL/SQL, Crystal Reports SENIOR AB INITIO ETL DEVELOPER Senior/Lead developer needed for changes to the GFAS application. Senior Developer performs impact analysis, designs, develops, and unit tests software applications from user requirements. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles. Excellent knowledge and experience with Ab Initio, Oracle, PL/SQL. The candidate will: -Participate in requirements analysis and definition. -Design, code, unit test, and performance tune Ab Initio applications. -Design, code, unit test, and performance tune SQL queries and PL/SQL packages. -Prepare code documentation in support of application development, including high level and detailed design documents, unit test specifications, interface specifications, etc. -Follow established software development guidelines and procedures. -Oversee code builds and deployments adhering to change management standards. -Support QA and UAT by preparing the environments, providing execution instructions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving defects. -Conduct peer code reviews. Requirements -Must have senior level experience in Ab Initio (2.14 or higher). Must have hands-on knowledge on how to extract from and load data to Oracle databases using Ab Initio. -Must have senior level experience in PL/SQL. -Must have senior level experience in Autosys. -Crystal Reports experience desired. -Excellent communication skills. -Self starter.
