I also request you to forward this opportunity to your friends or colleagues; so that we can help someone who may be in search of a job or looking for a change. ============================================================================================================================================================================================== *Role :* BI (Business Intelligence) consultant *Location :* Reston, VA *Contract:* Long term *General Description*: • Proficiency in querying data using SQL and BI tools (Business Objects / Micro strategy ) • Good knowledge of data analysis and basic data warehousing principles • Should have experience in Leading requirement gathering sessions related to data warehousing and reporting. • Experience with SCRUM or other Agile development methodologies (preferred) • Hands-on experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), preferred experience: IT Operations, JIRA Administration, Salesforce • JAD Facilitation and Technical writing • Ability to work with onshore and offshore development teams • Very good listening and interpretation skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to lead tasks and contribute to multiple projects concurrently • Ability to collaborate with members of the client community as well as IT staff • Proven analytical skills • Critical thinking with excellent judgment and initiative • Self-motivator with great attention to detail and follow through • Ability to work independently and in a team setting • Ability to excel in a fast paced environment *Key Responsibilities * • Lead the business requirements definition activities • Representing business requirements to the other members of the team as the data model is built. • Analyze and document operational source systems and business processes and data models • Perform data profiling and data analysis on the source systems • Develops test strategy and test cases.
