Senior web technology architect to work on the next generation product
offerings. The position involves being responsible for key areas of new
product launches as well as support the ongoing business. The person would
be responsible for architectural software decisions, as well as software
implementation in a team environment. The environment is dynamic with focus
on creative thinking and usage of open source to solve complex problems and
business needs.

*Requirements:*
· * **5+ years of hands-on experience with web development, 1+ year
as lead. *
· Extensive expertise in *CSS, HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, and Web 2.0
technologies*
· Proven track record of building scalable dynamic web sites
· In depth experience with libraries such as *jQuery,* prototype,
etc.
· Experience with *MVC, Design Patterns*.
· *Experience with Pyton/Django (need to know how to write and
optimize code)*
· Ability to design software that scales massively
· Experience working with CDN networks to optimize
performance/scalability
· Ability to independently set tasks and complete work with limited
direction
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
and maintain high productivity
· Ability to devise creative technical solutions
· Bachelors degree or equivalent

*Additional Considerations:*
· Design/Photoshop experience
· PHP or any other scripting language
· Good knowledge of Linux
· Experience with both traditional SQL technologies (mysql,
postgres) as well as NoSQL (mongoDB, memache)
· Good technical infrastructure design skills
· 3+ years of experience in technical architecture analysis and
design
