Please provide the following Details along with your .doc RESUME. ** *Job Title: Network Engineer /Project Leader(8+ yrs exp)* *Location: Madison, WI* *Duration: Long Term * *Rate : DOE* * * *Job Description:* --The Department of Transportation (DOT) is looking for a project leader with strong technical skills and experience in information technology infrastructure. The initial assignment will require a candidate with the knowledge and skills to manage a sub-project that is part of a larger co-location effort to migrate the on-site IT infrastructure to a new 'state of the art' facility across town. This sub-project will migrate the web network and application components within the DOT Bureau of Information Technology Services/Web Unit's area of responsibility (web servers, web application servers, ldap directories, and reverse proxies). DOT is currently using IBM Websphere Application servers, Novell's e-Dir product for authentication and authorization and Novell's i-Chain as the reverse proxy. Over 50 web applications will need to be migrated and tested as part of this project effort. --Future assignments will include leading projects to implement new web products or upgrade the web network and application infrastructure. --They will need excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to interact with staff at all levels and provide technical project leadership. This position reports to the Bureau of Information Technology Web Unit supervisor. Network Engineer capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. --Three work references will be requested at the time of the interview. --The Request For Service duration is for the period identified by the estimated start and end dates. However, this engagement may be extended for up to two one-year extensions.
