Position: Oracle 10g RAC DBA Location: King of Prussia, PA Duration: 6 Months Job Description: Oracle Admin - Oracle 10g RAC Admin -In mission Critical environment- HP-UX knowledge helpful DBA Requirements: . Responsible for supporting mission critical applications that use Oracle technologies . Responsible to create, maintain and monitor database instances in a distributed environment utilizing multiple versions of Oracle Server and SQL Server. Perform database health checks. Table and index management. . Provide support through daily operations of Oracle and SQL Server Databases . Provide technical assistance in the areas of Database installation, configuration, capacity planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution . Develop and implement quality documentation in support of our cGMP environment. Documents include IQ (installation qualification) and OQ ( operational qualifications ). . Facilitation of Data movement : support data migration, database copying, refreshing development and QA environments upon request. . Perform day-to-day troubleshooting of issues related to Oracle client/server technologies. . Support current database security standards . Install and upgrade Oracle Server, SQL*Net, Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control and other related application tools . Support the implementation of Information Services approved projects . Support application upgrades and enhancements . Provide secondary emergency support on an as-needed basis . Provide vacation coverage for client staff . Must have strong English language skills, verbal and written . Technical: Oracle 8, 9, 10, 11, RAC, RMAN. SQL Server 2005, 2010. HP-UX 11.23, 11.31. Linux Red Hat 5, 6.
