Person has to work in conjunction with offshore team and provide hands and feet support for fixing hardware issues at Data centers Assist to build operating systems on new/existing server hardware, coordinate with vendor for hardware replacement. Strategic position to manage the additional scope that we are adding into our existing scope.Technology project management including hardware refresh, technology transformation, value preposition by introducing automation and best practices. Project management skills, knowledge on project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio and PowerPoint. Tier Tier1 Responsibilities: See above in Role section Required Skills: Install and configure ESX or ESXi Install and configure venter Server components Configure and manage ESX/ESXi networking and storage using venter Server Deploy, manage, and migrate virtual machines Configure and Manager vmotion , HA , DRS , FT.
