*Position: Logical Data modelerLocation: Fort Worth, TXDuration: 6-12 Months* *F2F required: Local candidates preferred * Position: Logical Data Modeler on application development projects in an OLTP environment RESPONSIBILITIES: • Translate business and data requirements into Logical data models in support of Enterprise Data Models, OLTP, Operational Data Structures and Analytical systems. • Understand database performance factors and trends pertaining to very large database design and collaborate with DBAs to implement mitigating physical modeling solutions. • Perform source data analysis, data discovery and data profiling. • Provide data structures optimized for information entry and retrieval. • Effectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structures. • Support development team during design process design and during performance tuning. • Participate in both business & IT planning and in the development & management of project plans. • Lead design of Logical and Physical Models • Support ongoing data modeling efforts for Development and Production environments • Contribute to development of processes and guidelines for Data Modeling Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent • 4-8 years of experience in design and deployment of logical and physical structures • 2 years of Experience with Erwin data modeling tools • 2 years of Experience with development and deployments on Oracle or MSSQL platform • Experience with large, high volume databases is preferred. • Experience performing data profiling • Experience as an Oracle DBA is desired, but not required • Experience with Agile SDLC is preferred. • Ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple tasks at a time • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills • Strong technical writing skills • Experience to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks • In-depth understanding of both Relational and Domain Modeling techniques Skills required: *Erwin * and 2 Yrs.Logical Data Modeling * and 4 Yrs.Oracle * and 2 Yrs.* Nice to have: Agile Methodology and 3 Yrs. *Gurjant (Gary) Singh* Technical Recruiter Amerit Consulting, Inc. t 925.297.5994 | f 1.925.406.0505 gsi...@ameritconsulting.com | www.ameritconsulting.com *BUSINESS ON A HUMAN SCALE* *A Member Company of **Evergent Group* <http://www.evergentgroup.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
