Role : SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Houston, TX (Local consultants preferred)
Assignment: 6+ Months
* At least seven years of solid SAP ABAP programming experience and SAP
Application
Development experience, and associated technologies, preferably in the Oil
and Gas Industry
* Familiar with Oil and Gas Downstream/Chemicals business and operations
* SAP Application Support Experience (L2 and L3)
* SAP cross application expertise
* Development experience with workflows
* Development experience in the functional areas of SAP is Chemicals, SD, PP,
PM, MM Sufficient and proven experience in designing/supporting cross
functional
SAP applications
* Recent experience must include a minimum of two years of ABAP application
development experience in an oil and gas company
* Experience with any of the new SAP technologies including Enterprise Portal
and mobility is a plus
* SAP ABAP subject matter expert - excellent knowledge on developments of
Report-
Classic and ALV, Enhancements, Interfaces, Conversions, User Exits, ALE/IDOC,
BADI, and BAPI
* Ability to follow through and ensuring successful implementation of complex
projects with tight deadlines.
* Strong experience in ABAP/4, EDI, ALE, IDocs, BAPI's, BDCs and should have
a thorough understanding of Inbound/Outbound interface architecture
* Strong experience in User Exits and Function Modules
* Proficient in the use of ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Debug and SQL
tracing
tools
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Must be a proven team player exhibiting exceptional interpersonal and
communication
skills
* Must possess project and time management skills
* Must possess outstanding analytical, problem solving, and decision making
skills
